Make plans to attend July 15-17, 2010!

Do you believe God wants you to share a topic, host a workshop or take a leadership role? If so, let us know too!

Some planned talks or workshops are:

  • Dana Rudy is launching a Christian Combo pack with 3DiJoy's Fling PC controllers.
  • Shem Bingman is sharing with a title of Pro Choice Gaming.
  • Hope to hear from YaHero creators, Seth Crofton, and Lance Priebe.
  • Laurene Wells plans to speak on Women in Gaming - Players and Developers.

We have some ideas for themes but if you have a suggestion, please share it. Or if you have a 2010 logo you want to propose, send that on or post to the GameACE forum.

If you have some time to volunteer, that would be a huge help!

Cost: As usual we are doing our best to keep costs down. We charge only the minimum needed to offset expenses for the conference.

Sponsors: Without the contributions of sponsors these conferences could not happen. Sponsors help cover costs not covered by registration fees. Sponsors also make it possible for CGDC to offer scholarships to students and those in financial need who otherwise would not be able to attend. Sponsors are recognised in the program, and on the website.

What is the CGDC?
The Christian Game Developers Conference is the only gathering with the purpose of encouraging game developers, in both software and traditional mediums, to apply Christian principles to their industry. Some developers are involved in creating games made specifically to glorify God. Others work for secular companies and are Godly influences at their place of employment. But wherever they are, they need encouragement to stand up for morality and truth in an industry that can often be fighting these ideals - and the CGDC is a great place to get that encouragement.

In addition to the inspirational messages, there are also talks and workshops on topics from game design to business marketing to QA processes. At no other conference in the world can you walk out from a message on integrating Christian concepts with games and into a workshop on particle physics, discuss optimizing a website for visibility on search engines, and then hear a debate on interactive storytelling that hinges on the issues of freewill vs. predestination, or find yourself philosophizing late at night with five different Christian game designers from three different countries. And you certainly can't find anything else like it for the price.
